As in the past, this year's festival is divided into two categories for submissions: a movie trailer competition and a short feature competition. Entries in both categories will be played at the festival and judged in real-time, with the winners of both competitions announced at the conclusion of the festival.

Movie Trailer Competition

Have a feature film you'd like to get the word out about? Making a trailer and entering it in this competition is a scientifically probable way of raising the profile of your work. Or, if you just like making cool trailers, entries to this category need not be for actual works. Just put together the most gripping trailer you can, and send it our way.

Short Feature (Main) Competition

This is it. The Big Time. It doesn't get any closer to Hollywood in Toledo, Ohio than the Short Feature Competition at the Phantasmagoria Film Festival. Or, if you hate Hollywood, substitute another appropriately epic venue.

Either way, your film should be in this competition.
